KIALOA Warranty & Repair Policy

KIALOA paddles purchased directly from KIALOA from one of it's authorized dealers or resellers are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Within the warranty period, all paddles found to have defects will be repaired when possible or when a repair is not possible, replaced at no charge. Alterations and 3rd party repairs to a paddle may void this warranty and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

There are no warranties which extend beyond those indicated herein.  Any implied warranties that may be applicable to the paddles, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.  Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Under no circumstances shall KIALOA be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability.  Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

We will contact you once your paddle arrives at KIALOA with our repair determination. Once we contact you, you will have one year to decide whether you would like the paddle repaired and shipped back to you at your cost or recycled. After one year your paddle will be recycled. Please let us know before sending your paddle in if this will be an issue. Any paddle deemed a warranty will be repaired or replaced before we contact you and ship your paddle back.
