Gerry's book, Surf Is Where You Find It, is a chronicle of stories celebrating the surfing lifestyle. A surf swell of sorts arrived in the mountain town of Bend, Oregon, in the form of the Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge. Held on the slopes of Mount Bachelor ski resort, the Big Wave Challenge is a surf inspired snowboard event. Mahalo to Patagonia for providing the video.
