Travel to the North Atlantic for amazing surfing on the second-largest island of the British Isles, Ireland.  You will find low-lying mountains surrounding a central plain with several rivers. Mild temperatures, cloud cover and rainfall are abundant but the surf is there to please.

This looks like a must-watch for all surfers in Ireland and beyond.

With some of the best waves on Earth, it’s no surprise that Ireland has proved a popular choice with filmmakers making movies about surfing over the years.

Waveriders, for example, released in 2008, featured the famous ‘Aileens’ wave at the Cliffs of Moher, a behemoth that has been taken on by some of the world’s best-known surfers.

Next month sees the release of another Irish surfing movie titled Between Land and Sea, which follows the lives of big wave surfers living in Lahinch in Clare over the course of a year.
