Kialoa sponsored the Ekuiluna "Stand Up" Northern California downwind fundraiser race on July 9th. Over 65 paddlers raced and many keiki paddlers participated. Ekuiluna is a group of Northern California paddlers joining together to race the 2017 Molokai Hoe. Kialoa's support of this grassroot effort is appreciated and shows Kialoa's commitment to the local paddling community. In addition, the winning female, Laura Chan, and winning male, Joe Naholowa'a, both use a Hoku Carbon Faux Wood Double Bend.
Kialoa also sponsored the San Francisco Alcatraz race last weekend. It was a fantastic weekend for Kialoa to catch up with old friends and make new friends. What a great venue filled with the Aloha spirit. Thank you Northern California for your hospitality.
