"Keep Molokai, Molokai" has been a rallying statement since I can remember. The lifestyle of the Friendly Island is rural and reliant to some degree on a subsistence based economy. It is common for residents to collect sea salt, and barter taro, fish and deer meat. In this video, Molokai makes the plea to maintain their lifestyle in the conflict between people who consider the land to be their home and those who view it as business and profit.
