A man survives almost 30 hours at sea before being rescued. Those of us that have spent time on the open ocean have often wondered what we would do if we fell overboard. It is a fleeting thought and not one that we ever believe we would have to face. Brett Archibald, while on a trip with friends, found himself overboard and all alone in the middle of the night. His harrowing experience is haunting and surreal.

Brett Archibald will never forget the feeling of doom while watching a charter boat sail away into darkness after he fell overboard in the Indian Ocean while on a trip with friends.
